Car history: |
2) LS5 4 speed AC Corvette Coupe. Car has a partial tank sticker and a letter from NCRS verifying shipping date and info. Car is number matching and also has the VIN stamped on the driver side rear portion of frame rail just behind wheel. Car was originally sold in Northern VA and spent most of its life in the VA, DC MD area. Car is the rare Nevada silver with a standard black interior. Rear is a 3:08 Posi. Car has had body work completed and sits in a slick sand coating waiting to be blocked and painted. Car is about 95 per cent complete. Parts that I know are missing are original exhaust manifolds, AC compressor, original carb, 1 lower grille and radio. At some point the last owner was trying to change car into an automatic and had put in the bolt in cross member. I have the correct cross-member. Other than some jacking dents on frame the frame is in excellent shape with absolutely no rust. All date coded glass is present except windshield. Motor was rebuilt by Terry Walters in Roanoke VA and receipt can be provided to show what work was done. Trans has also been rebuilt. Car comes with an excellent interior and extra interior panels, and new reproduction door panels. Seats will need covers and foam. Car will need the frame restored, car painted and interior work. Options: LS5 454 / 365 HP T0222CPH C11S114484, 4 speed - P1C16A C11S11484, AC, Power Steering, Shoulder Belts Dated 37E70, Alarm. BiN $15,500. August 28, 2015. 1) This is a Fantastic Project car. It needs a front clip, seats and total interior. From front to rear, the frame, suspension, rear clip, floors and rear interior have no holes or rust and is well worth the money. Door panels have been recovered already and the rear window is removable and is included (but not pictured). Then to top it all off is the 454 with 365hp and matching numbers to car and an automatic transmission. These cars bring $80,000 or more when fully restored. September 20, 2012. |
